[i]kasplatzavision: Advice please

It's no secret that the little apartment in glen St turns into an absolute oven during heatwaves like this.
How does one stay motivated in this blasted heat? I can't spend the next four days lying in front of a fan playing PS2, I've got a lot of stuff to do (like pack and try to get back into a regular routine)

I especially hate it when anyone playing a Division member has their character refer to themselves as a 'Shinigami'. SCUSE ME WTF R U DOIN THEY ARE NOT JAPANESE THEY ARE ENGLISH. Reaper. They are Reapers. >/ [/rant]

In other news, last night I finally sated my Star Trek cravings by hiring the video. hdhfdkfhdsfkhs Chris Pine, your Jim Kirk is Dinozzo's long lost brother, I SWEAR XDDDD I find myself squealing over Scotty and McCoy and omg Leonard Nimoy still makes me giggle :3 [/trekkie]

RYOKINS thank you for the Kangta album ;O; It's exactly what I was looking for. Also, his Falling in Love reminds me of this:

Kissing Me

Clazziquai and Daniel Henney

Both songs which now make me smile X3 Ah my MP3 isn't starved of new content anymore! Aaannddd I better finish breakfast and head over to Millay's before it becomes unbearably hot :/

Bluejuice - Broken Leg
Summary:In 1985, two of Australia's premiere skip ropers, Spiradon 'Mr Invisible' Savvas and Arthur 'Venom' Penington, put aside their dislike of each other and united to lead Team Bluejuice into the World Skip Rope Championships. Their opponents - Shimmer Extreme, the young guns. It was a battle for the history books, one that is still spoken about to this day, and featured an attempt at a move so rare, few have even seen it performed: The Broken Leg.

BTSSB WAT IS THIS. WAT IS THIS. IDEK DDDDD: I'm waiting for you to say you want it, Millay. I'm waiting.

KPoppers (XD) on my FLIst-  I need moar songs. I don't like poppy boyband songs so much but I do like those along the lines of Replay & Haru Haru. Nothing too slow, more like smooth R&B if anything.

Today's weather was gorgeous and I ended up taking a siesta because the warmth was just the right warmth for sleepiness X3 Much better day today, thankfully! Tomorrow is errands day, but at least it's school-free :D

[i]clamwings: Stop. Hiatus time.

The "When there's nothing left to burn, you've got to set your internet addiction self on FIRE" hiatus.
Because when you've pushed and pushed and pushed, and think you have nothing left to give, you've got to push a little fucking more.

For the greater love of this costume and not making a fool of myself, I'm holing myself away for the next week. The two days after that will be spent in some sort of alcohol and/or sugar induced state, and two days later, I will have a part time job for Christmas (Oh god I love you MuKuro ;~; <3)

So uh, leave messages/macros/photos of inspiration/encouragement/love/support/hate here? They're so desperately needed like you have no idea.

As always, if you need/want/desire me, I'm contactable on thepsychoticbugis@gmail.com. I'd give you all my phone number as well, but that...thing is resembling a large hard dustbunny with mild-electricity channeling abilities more than ever these days.

Also, suggestions for new phones (NOT a fucking iPhone) songs/bands/groups etc. would be a God send...I'm getting so incredibly sick of listening to the same monotonous shit.

Luff you all! Stay sparkly!

I feel a little better about Shelly. Tumors are common in turtles and can often be mistaken for pregnancy. By the description of what she looked like in the past few weeks - i.e. the red veins and puffy skin - she would have had a tumor.
I was blaming myself for the past day and a half, thinking that it was my fault and that I should have been able to save her. But apparently there's nothing that can be done short of a three hundred dollar operation that isn't guaranteed to save her life.
The best I can do is be okay with the fact that I kept her in a good environment and that she was and will be forever loved.

Love.

[i]kasplatzavision: Shit I'm selling

Yo, I posted this on Hyper and Manifest, but I figure I'll do one on LJ and DA as well, just for shits and giggles (and to try and get more sales)
Pretty much, I'm moving out and as you might already know, I'm going to have one hell of a debt due to Rent being badly timed (and me spending a bit -too- much over eGames weekend), so I'm selling a bunch of my old geeky stuff that are from series I no longer like (hence why there's no nintendo or megami tensei stuff here, hurrr)

D'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! BUY THEM!

-Anyway, first up is a US copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and a Freeloader. Please note that you will not be able to use this if you have the latest software a PAL Wii (although if you have the homebrew channel, you can play SSBB through some kind of region-free program).
Selling this for $35 ($35 for brawl and the Freeloader comes for free)

-Next, we have four three Final Fantasy Trading Arts figurines (Cloud has been sold already). These are from older various series (1 and 2, I think), and are of Vincent, Selphie, and Rikku. Selphie has had her leg broken, but it has been repaired with superglue and is not terribly noticable. As a result, these guys are $6 each (Selphie is $4)

-I also have a .hack//SIGN Mimiru figurine (I bought it with the intention of modding it to look like BlackRose, never got around to it) Good condition (a little dusty), comes with figure, sword and base. $10

-Selling these on behalf of a friend (she won them one year and left them at my place)
Two Tsubasa Figurines: Sakura (Maid Outfit) and Mystery Character X

Next up, I have a bunch of anime DVDs to sell. All of them are Region 3, most (if not all) are Madman releases
-Kenshin Vol 1 + 2 (with Samurai X: The motion picture for FREE) - $22 for both
-CLAMP Double Feature (Tsubasa + xxxHolic movies. Sealed) - $15
-Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage Vol. 1 (Sealed) - $15
-Gundam Wing Vol. 1-5 - $12 each OR all 5 for $50

Aaaand new to the pile, some books!
-Skullduggery Pleasant: Playing with Fire (book 2 of 3) - $10 (I own two copies for some reason)
-Cowboy Bebop Vol. 2- $10
-Excel Saga Vol. 1- $10

Next, I've got a Pokemon Diamond DS Lite Case for $5
More pictures
-Inside
-Back

Another new one is a bunch of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Trading Cards for $3
These also come with some Tattoos- the Malo ones scare me, but the Triforce ones are kickin'

FINALLY, we have.. EXCESS AVCON STOCK (from both years)
All bookmarks are $1
All Stickers are 50c
Designs feature the following characters:
-AVcon '08 Designs
(bookmarks are double-sided, so the TWEWY bookmarks have both Neku and Shiki on them, for example)
(I have at least 1 of each EXCEPT for the Link/Midna one)
-Shin Megami Tensei Set
-(These weren't too popular *cry*, so I've got many of these in both Bookmarks and Stickers)
-Devil May Cry Set
-(None in stickers, No Dante in Bookmarks)
-Katamari Cousins Set
-(Miso and Jungle in stickers, All 5 in bookmarks)
-Legend of Zelda set
-(Zelda in bookmarks. THAT'S IT. :|)
-Final Fantasy Set
-(Zidane in Bookmarks. THAT'S IT :|)

Phew! I'm cleaning out stuff still, so I might add to the post at some point, myes.
-I take Paypal or Bank Transfer
-I ship internationally
-Prices do not include postage
-All prices are in $AU

Five days in Berlin. )

Thu, Nov. 5th, 2009, 05:44 am
[i]clu_ffvii: (no subject)

I woke up at two am, and haven't been back to sleep. It's okay. I only have TAFE until twelve, then I'll go home and have a nap, and then I'm going to see if I can see the girls for a little while before I go to bed early.
Every time I look at Master Oogway, I think about Shelly and about my inability to protect her - to save her. I should have been able to prevent this. I feel like crying, but every time I feel like I'm going to, I just don't. And then I'm left with this lingering feeling behind my nose and my eyes start to feel sore.
I have had such little sleep over the past few days, I feel delirious and like I'm going to go insane. I should probably take my lithium because I think Shelly dying will throw my cycle out of whack and into an early depression.
I miss her so much. I miss watching her and Master Oogway chase each other, and sit on each other. I feel so pathetic. I just remember the days when James and I would come home drunk from the Edgy, and we'd sit on my floor for an hour or so talking, and watching them swim around. It seemed kind of soothing in a drunken state. And now Master Oogway looks so lonely. It's heartbreaking.
Perhaps an entry about Berlin, and reliving it in my mind might make me think a little less about her - even if only for a few minutes.

I was going to post an elaborate diary about every detail of Berlin - including pictures and such. But today just seems to surreal and pointless.
I came home to find my beautiful turtle Shelly dead in the tank. My room smelt like dead water-logged flesh. When I picked her up, her head hung out of her shell and her legs flopped and rolled about until they found a comfortable position to rest.
The aquarium told me she was pregnant. I should have known something was wrong when she was supposedly seven months pregnant, as opposed to the usual gestation period of two.
I was trying not to crying in front of James, but in the shower I did because I was hiding my face in my knees. Then I looked down and a massive steam of blood was oozing from my nose.
For the rest of the day I felt dizzy and sick, and so incredibly sad. The image of picking her up to say hello and the feeling of the sudden realisation that she was in fact dead still plays in my head every minute.
I feel so horrible.

[i]fatdamien: Rollover beethoven

I just discovered why my laptop curser always came up with jibberish: I had it set to translate anything it was hov ering over into spanish! Solution: Disable option.
Better Solution: Change Spanish to Latin!

A search for an appropriate image to express my happiness, ie: a GIS for "latin" "happy" resulted in the above. "Close enough"?
